Is there parking here??
Street parking only.
In my opinion one of the best matcha latte's. Tastes creamy and smooth with just enough caffeine. Also like the coffee lattes and the snack are unique to Equator.
MoreVery hip Urban setting right in Downtown Oakland across from Whole Foods. Equator make some of the best coffee you will ever drink. The granola bars they were sampling yesterday were terrific. Many other excellent, sweet and savory fresh baked goods too.
MoreNice, little, out of the way outside space to converse or read. Coffee is decent in a competitive market, but doesn't seem to carry over the quality of the Proof Lab local.
MoreQuick pleasant service. Coffee and food is good.
Love equator! Staff at this location is super nice, funny and always has dog treats
MoreGreat spot and better coffee! The shakerato is a must-try!
Bought coffee beans.I greatly appreciated the unprompted help in picking out something i like.
MoreGreat Americano
Best espresso in Oakland...maybe even the entire Bay Area? Cheers 🤘
Scratch Caramel latte was delicious, not too sweet.
Equator Coffees & Teas has finally open a shop in Adams Point of Oakland. They share a space with Urban Remedy both located right behind Pacific Strength Crossfit in their own container. There isn't much seating only two tables with a pottery strip in center or you can take it to go. Today was their grand opening with free coffee or any listed beverages (hot or cold). Baked goods and premade sandwiches are for purchase and even those were stock pretty well. Johnny Doughnuts also got into the act was seen dropping off their goods as well. Since coffee is free, I went ahead with vanilla latte and a scone USD $4 follow by a small donation in tip jar. My only regrets is showing up too early missing out on DJs, but I had confirmed activities for the day already. It sure got me going for the day as I almost went to Peet's.
MoreVery nice place for coffee and donuts.
I both love and am always a bit disappointed here. The coffee is great, the staff are generally pretty friendly, but service and delivery almost always miss. From getting the wrong drink, wrong size, or just having to wait a while. I want to love this place more as going to Whole Foods across the street lacks the same neighborhood vibe.
MoreCool little spot close to Lake Merritt. Nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee or tea in the midst of the urban jungle. If you're walking by, give it a try. If you're driving, drive right on by - you'll never find a parking spot.
MoreDelightful shop, outdoor seating and heating lamp!
Nice folks ..espresso is more on the lighter side of the taste Spectrum
An open air and sunny little spot. Equator serves the best coffee, the baristas are always friendly, and many customers bring along their dogs to sit on the porch. Additionally, the shop has the most amazing arrangement of succulents, making it the perfect atmosphere for a quick snack and refreshment. I recommend the bran muffin (I never thought I would find one that I like!) and their scratch caramel latte.
MoreGorgeous spot and a great iced americano. There are heat lamps so you can enjoy sitting outdoors (among their succulents) without getting cold.
MoreUnlike Bay area acidic coffee. Nice.
This is a really nice spot for some fun food and coffee or tea. It's outside but covered so I can enjoy the sun without getting burned. You can dine in or take out. I has bacon quiche and a butterfly pea tea with sparkling lemonade. Seems busy but not crowded, fun guests! I felt very welcomed here. Will definitely be back to try more stuff.
MoreI love this place!!! I ordered the Roobis Chai Latte and it was amazing with a perfect balance of sweetness and spice, such to be expected from any good Chai. The area is also wonderful and the staff were especially polite, friendly, and responded to everyone's order in a timely fashion. 5/5 stars for sure and would highly recommend this place to anyone near the Lake Merritt area.
MoreThis is such a gem in Oakland. I love that they have rotating single origin espressos and drop offerings. The patio is the best for people watching and chilling with a great cup of coffee. Recently tried the pumpkin bread and croissant - great food along with the coffee.
MoreTheir shakeratos are delicious, 9 out of 10 would shakerato again
In search for a great cup of Coffee? This is the place to go!
Great coffee. Wonderful service.
Cute shipping container meets great coffee. Only patio seating though.
Drinks ate good for the most part. But if you're in a hurry go elsewhere. You will wait forever. It's nice that they added the heat lamps. Tons of dogs there with there owners. You matu want to avoid if your dog is skittish
MoreCute spot with good coffee!
A lovely little cafe in Oakland,
Great outdoor coffee place with heaters and WiFi!
Veggie frittata was good and service was friendly.
Love the cappuccinos. Great vibe overall.
Really friendly staff. Sandwich made to order. Had the egg and Swiss served on an English muffin and it was delicious.
MoreIt is such a cute spot with indoor and outdoor sitting area. Great place to meet friends but wouldn't recommend it for work. It's usually very crowded and loud. If you like sweet coffee try the New Orleans with almond milk. It is delicious.
MoreThis place is very close to my office. The staff have a great attitude and are friendly. Unfortunately, my order is correct only 60% of the time. Of course, they offer to redo it each time, however, I am usually on a time crunch. The veggie scone is tasty.
MoreI like this place my dad says the coffee is the best he's ever had.
Cute!
I live next door and overall love it. Two suggestions- there is often a tiny rung of a pastry left by the time I get there. Not sure it’s fair to charge full price for it. And.. I feel the baristas would get better tips if you could put in increments of less that $1 on the machine. I’d prefer to leave something rather than nothing but I can’t do $1 several times a week. Otherwise keep up the good work!
MoreI love this little spot: outdoor seating, succulents and great coffee!
It’s mine and my dogs favorite spot to walk to from our apartment. Excellent service m, good music and great coffee. I tried the single origin espresso today and it was worth the extra $! Try it!
MoreDelicious coffee, great location, really cool concept
Convenient, tasty coffee with friendly staff. Can be short staffed and slow... prepare to wait and do so under the heating lamps.
MoreNice tea and pastry place but there's no restroom. The restroom is at the whole foods across the street ;)
MoreHaven't tried this place
